Other information: Ticket to the track and field competitions in the Olympic Stadium on 26 July (on standing bleachers). There were four finals in the program of the day: men’s 1,500 metres (won by Joseph Barthel of Luxembourg), the decathlon (Bob Mathias, USA), women’s 200 metres (Marjorie Jackson, Australia) and women’s shot put (Galina Zybina, USSR).
A total of 1,376,512 admission tickets were sold for the Helsinki Olympic Games.
